I always want to write on here, but lately time has just escaped me. That said, I’ve been tinkering with different flavors and recipes every week. Some good, some not so much. At the very least, they get my brain churning and thinking about new ideas, like this peach rawnola that I’m deeming “You’re a peach” rawnola {I can’t say no to an easy pun}.

"You're a Peach" Rawnola | Rawlevance.comFrom my last recipe, the Peppermint Cacao Bites, I had a bunch of leftover cacao bites and powder, so when Paul was here, I tried to come up with a scrumptious recipe to incorporate cacao in an everyday recipe. I think I was close with a cacao rawnola, but it was definitely missing something that I haven’t put my finger on yet. Since my chocolate taste tester has gone back to the East Coast, I figured I’d try making another flavor of rawnola. I had dried peaches on hand, so peach rawnola it is.

"You're a Peach" Rawnola | Rawlevance.comTaking notes from peach crisp, this peach rawnola incorporates plenty of cinnamon and pecans. It’s super easy to make and goes great with everything from ice cream {or nice cream if you don’t do dairy}, yogurt, or my favorite, smoothie bowls. If you’re concerned about gluten, I was able to find this awesome bag of gluten free rolled oats at Trader Joe’s. While oats on their own are typically gluten free, they can be farmed or packaged in the same areas as other wheats causing some gluten contamination. The Trader Joe’s Rolled Oats taste just as great as others, but they are grown in dedicated oat fields and packaged in a gluten free facility. Win-win for any of you with gluten sensitivity or intolerance!

Start your morning off with this punny crunch! This delicious peach rawnola is great alone or on top of your favorite morning dishes.
Serves: 2½ cups
  • ½ cup dried peaches
  • ½ cup rolled oats, divided
  • ½ cup pecans
  • ¼ cup coconut flakes
  • ½ cup dates
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • 2 tsp coconut sugar
  • Dash of salt
  1. In a food processor, chop the dried peaches until they are small pieces.
  2. Add ¼ cup rolled oats to the food processor. Then add all of the pecans and coconut flakes. Gently pulse to combine.
  3. Add dates to the food processor. Pulse until dates are chopped and the mixture is slightly sticky.
  4. Add the remaining ¼ cup oats and the cinnamon, nutmeg, coconut sugar, and salt to the mixture.
  5. Gently pulse until well combined. Then enjoy! Great by itself or as a topping on your favorite ice cream, yogurt, or smoothie bowl!
